Our Team

Meet Brenda Riek, one of the many standout employees at Brighton Science. Brenda began her journey with us as a temporary hire in the Procurement role back in September 2022. Since then, she has transitioned seamlessly into the Shipping, Receiving, and Service Specialist position in May 2023.

Brenda thrives in her current role, finding immense satisfaction in providing our customers with dependable Customer Service. Outside of work, Brenda shares her life with her husband Todd, who serves as the Executive Chef for British Airways at CVG Airport. Together, they cherish spending time with their close-knit circle of family and friends. Adding to their lively household is Gordie, their 80-pound boxer, who keeps them on their toes with his boundless energy.

Excited about her professional journey with Brighton Science, Brenda is amazed by the growth she has witnessed in less than two years. She is thrilled to contribute to our dynamic and intelligent team.

Brenda's path to Brighton Science has been diverse. She graduated from high school in Wakeman, Ohio, before pursuing a degree in Travel. Brenda then managed a travel agency in Lakewood, OH, for several years before transitioning to the construction industry. Before returning to Ohio, she served as a Site Office Manager for a decade, traveling across various states, including Michigan, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Her tenure with CSX railroad eventually led her to Cincinnati, where she worked until 2015. Since 2012, Brenda, Todd, and Gordie have called Covington, KY, home.

Meet Kim Harris, a valued member of the Brighton Science team. Kim joined Brighton Science on September 1, 2021, and plays a crucial role in handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, sales tax, and credit card management.

Outside of work, Kim leads a fulfilling life with her husband Chris, stepson Casey, twin daughters Chelsea and Carley, two cats named Molly and Milly, and beloved dog named Mavis. When she's not at Brighton Science, Kim enjoys engaging in sports, visiting museums and parks, and attending events with her family.

Kim takes pride in witnessing Brighton Science's growth, particularly in its product offerings. She eagerly anticipates BConnect's further expansion in the market and the continued success of both BConnect and legacy sales.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from Thomas More University, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at Brighton Science.
